Strategic Development Plan Team

Strategic planning is a continuous process that requires a dedicated team of professional and support staff to manage effectively.

Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire Councils established a joint Strategic Development Plan Team in early 2008 to service the SDPA and carry out the work to prepare and review the strategic development plan.

The team will take forward work on the preparation, implementation and monitoring of the structure plan and thereafter commence work on a new strategic development plan.

The SDP Team are based at Archibald Simpson House, 27-29 King Street, Aberdeen - a building shared with the Transport Partnership for Aberdeen City and Shire (Nestrans) and Aberdeen City and Shire Economic Forum (ACSEF).
