Current Work
Under the Planning etc. (Scotland) Act 2006 the structure plan approved in 2009 will be replaced by a strategic development plan. The Development Plan Scheme published in March 2011 sets out our programme for preparing the regions first strategic development plan by 2014.

The SDPA is also preparing supplementary planning guidance to support the current structure plan. Entitled 'Delivering Identified Projects Through a Strategic Transport Fund', a draft is available from the Current Consultations pages.
