Strategic Transport Fund - Contribution Levels Update (2016/17)

The SDPA's Strategic Transport Fund (STF) has been operational since 2012 and is designed to address the cumulative impact on the transport network of the significant scale of development planned for the Aberdeen City Region. Developments in Aberdeen City and parts of Aberdeenshire contribute to the fund to deliver a range of transport projects required as a consequence of the new development.  The total cost of the transport interventions at 2011/12 prices was £86 million and includes a new station at Kintore and a new link over the River Dee. The Aberdeen City and Shire Strategic Development Plan (2014) sets the context for the STF, while the detail is set out in statutory Supplementary Guidance adopted in 2015.

Contribution levels are uprated annually in line with the RICS Building Cost Information Service: All-In Tender Price Index. Contribution levels for 2016/17 are set out here - Strategic Transport Fund - Inflation Update 2016/17
